Participative leadership is the leadership style where leaders listen to their employees and involve them in the decision-making process. This requires an inclusive mindset, good communication skills and the ability — or inclination — to share power.
A participative leader is an open-minded person who is open to advice and feedback that will help the organization or community to succeed. They help raise morale by taking suggestions from those under them and incorporating those suggestions into the plan of action.
