A business coach helps an individual or a business, get from where they are to where they want to be, in a corporate context. They focus on the objective and will help tackle specific tasks in the process. When a business coach is brought in as business development consultant, these company objectives may include managing a new software implementation or assisting with a change in organisational structure. They may even help determine the objectives and measurements of success. If the business coach is brought in for individual coaching, they may bring their own coaching style and methodologies to help one unleash their full potential.
An online business coach will offer the exact same services but with the coaching session being conducted digitally. This may be through a coaching app (link to coaching app page), coaching platform (link to coaching platform page) or done privately through their preferred digital communication.
Collective man power is far more superior than a single power of one. As former Google CEO, Eric Schmidt said “Everybody needs a coach. One thing that people are never good at is seeing themselves as others see them. A coach really, really helps.” A business coach helps excavate personal values you may never knew existed and can help link them to your desires and intentions. A new perspective can help leverage existing resources and unveil existing connections
A new perspective brings new ideas to the table. This is more from a company-wide business coaching perspective/ a business development consultant. They can help identify gaps in the business where processes can be improved and by leveraging internal resources, with minimal additional costs.
On an individual level, business coaches will challenge your thinking, goals and willingness to grow. They will be your confidante but will also hold you accountable for your own growth.

Should I invest in a business coach?
On an individual level you should only invest in a business coach if you have the right attitude from the beginning. The success of the coaching largely depends on consistency and on the willingness to listen to a new perspective. On an organisational level, you should only hire a coach if you are clear on the objective and therefore hire a coach with the appropriate credentials and experience.
How do I choose a business coach?
The coaching industry is a saturated one and amateur coaching can be detrimental for a company. Thus, it is crucial to check business coaches’ professional credentials and experience before hiring them. On an individual level, there are many things to consider when selecting a business coach – do you want them to be specialised in a certain area? Have experience in a certain industry? Be a certain age? Have a strict or empathetic approach? At CoachHub our coachees are matched with their coach via an AI algorithm, after completing a survey consisting of 25 questions
What are business coaching services?
Business coaching services help business owners, and professionals achieve their goals, whether that be accelerating their career, increasing company revenue or increasing business growth. A business coaching service may have a pool of coaches with a range of different experiences on offer for a range of different clients to change from. Or they may specialise in one particular area, for example by size (e.g. SMEs) or by industry (e.g. financial services). There are also online business coaching services whereby an online coach will offer their services, only digitally.
