The challenge
With more than 1,200 stores and 10,000 employees on four continents, Lacoste is a unique brand of casual luxury embodying French elegance. It is the mission of Lacoste to turn elegance―the “expression of beauty through action”―into a universal value through its commitment to people, to communities and to the planet.
Lacoste’s goal with coaching was to enable top managers and international leaders to learn from each other, share best practices and create long-lasting relationships. Two main reasons guided the launch of the partnership with CoachHub. First was the desire to create more consistency between cultural and managerial practices within the group and in all countries. Second was the deep conviction that collective intelligence is a strong lever for advancing employees.
The result
Lacoste’s digital coaching initiative with CoachHub was initially launched with HR managers around the world. They met remotely with their coaches monthly to discuss common issues HR managers face, as well as best practices. Coaching has since been expanded to include Lacoste employees in other parts of the business such as sales and marketing.
Through CoachHub’s digital coaching, participants were able to grow professionally, learn from their peers and create lasting professional communities. Coachees also reported that they developed a greater sense of belonging and broke through silos. Through coaching, CoachHub was able to support Lacoste in the development of collective intelligence.
