Definition

Learning types or learning styles refer to a range of theories that aim to account for the difference in individuals’ learning. Learning styles are different methods of learning or understanding new information, the way a person takes in, understands, expresses and remembers information.

What are the 4 types of learning?

There are 4 predominant learning styles: Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, and Kinesthetic. Although there is ample evidence that individuals express personal preferences for how they prefer to receive information, few studies have found any validity in using learning styles in education.
